Dana Siebert

Son of Fred & Pat Siebert. Dana was born into a miliary family, joining his siblings: brother Mark, sister Patsy, and brother Derick. He was born when the family was stationed at Fort Monroe, Va. Dana started kindergarden in Hayfield, VA, went to elementary school in Izmir, Turkey, started high school in Singapore where he was gifted with an Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, who lived with Dana for the next 45 years.


Dana graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in Alexandria, were he was an actor, writer and a journalist. He was a talented piano player and a singer. He pursued an acting career first at Wright University in Ohio and then tranfered to New York were he attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.


While living in New York, Dana pursued a career a the chief of staff for creative agencies and designers of national brands and then to managing the suppport staff for a prominent New Your City law firm.  He lived in Brooklynn Heights at the time and you could see the statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center from his balcony. 


Dana moved back to Alexandria after a brief illness and it was there he met his future husband Micheal Dickinson. After Micheal retired, they moved to Mrytle Beach, where they lived until Micheal passed away in 2018 and Dana in 2022.
